Hot Tip – Removal of cartridge HB 700 KD
“Oh, just that couple of drops!” you might think when removing the cartridge from the hand-held device HB 700 K. Unfortunately, our hot-melt adhesive cannot (yet) think: It makes no difference whether it is distributed in the hand-held device or on the substrate to be bonded…..
For this reason, contamination of the device with reactive PUR/POR adhesive must be avoided at all costs. Stronger or more frequent contamination leads to the destruction of the hand applicator. To avoid such damage, here is a very hot tip:
Hold the device containing the cartridge to be removed briefly upside down before removing it! If there is still a small amount of the hot-melt adhesive remaining in the nozzle, this will flow back from the device into the cartridge. The cartridge can then be removed. Do you already know our rinsing agent 1233R in cartridge form?
