HB 4180 Connect bag melter
The bag melter is a maintenance-friendly, adhesive-saving melting device. The melting material is processed directly from the bag. This minimizes contamination of the device.
The HB 4180 Connect works with a buffer volume to enable uninterrupted operation. This means that work can continue during the refilling process without stopping production. When melting on demand, the melting material is melted in two stages: The adhesive block is pressed through a melting grid by means of a piston as required and flows into a reservoir. Once this is full, the melting grid is automatically switched off. Due to the demand-based melting, the adhesive in the reservoir has a constant viscosity. This ensures a continuous production quality.
No residue remains in the adhesive bag. The entire contents of the bag are melted. The compressed packaging has only a small waste volume.
