Mounting an HP hose on the HB 910 hand gun
Preparation:
During assembly, wear suitable protective clothing, such as heat-resistant gloves and safety goggles. In preparation, the hose should be heated to around 100 °C. The power plug and the compressed air supply must be completely disconnected from the device. The work may only be carried out by personnel who have received electrical training.
The following tools are required:
- One open-end wrench in size 8, two in size 19
- One Phillips screwdriver and one slotted screwdriver
- and a hose cutter
Mounting the hose
In the case of an older hose, the support ring is pushed over the heatable hose. This step can be skipped with newer models.
The rotating hose connection of the hose is first attached hand-tight to the connection of the HB 910 and tightened firmly with an open-end wrench. A second open-end wrench can be used to prevent the heating cylinder from turning. The union nut of the spray air line can then be removed and put to one side.
Connecting the cables
The green-yellow striped cable of the protective conductor is attached to the earthing screw; the grey sensor cables are individually attached to the terminal block of the sensor (green in the case of PT100, red by Ni120) and then tightened firmly. Polarity does not have to be taken into account separately.
Turn the HB 910 together with the heatable hose to attach the two still loose power supply cables, regardless of their polarity.
Assembly of the spray air line
Then put the union nut back over the spray air line, adjust the length to the air nipple and tighten it firmly with the union nut.
The two half-shells can be firmly assembled with the help of the four screws. Make sure that none of the cables are trapped here.
